Video Projects
A Little Closer
A Little Closer was created as a school project during my second-year Video Effects class, where we were assigned to create a video centered around a superpower. While developing the project, I realized that the greatest superpower I could imagine was my own mind. The way I use it to understand, create, and interact with everything around me.
The video explores the idea that behind the mechanics of everyday life lies something less visible: thought and existence. Ordinary actions and objects become extensions of the mind, as if the world around me is being powered not just by physical forces, but by consciousness itself. A Little Closer is my attempt to visualize that relationship and bring the invisible power of thought a little closer to the surface.

Oasis Club Cakes
This video was created from a 3D poly scan of a pistachio cake, which I brought into Blender and placed within a nighttime city environment. I added environmental lighting and basic volumetric nodes to create fog and atmospheric depth, then used After Effects to add subtle lens blur and animated camera focus. The exaggerated scale of the cake is meant to create a sense of dominance, as though it is taking over the city, reflecting its position as a leading seller while connecting the late-night setting to the cake’s late-night availability.
