In-House Design and Art
The Main Event was an Art Gallery that worked towards giving back to the community in the Lower East Side, gifting exclusive house branded cannabis products in exchange for speakeasy style signed photo print purchases. Photos from well-known photographers included Non-Profit Organizations across New York City; giving back 10% of photo purchases profits to a monthly chosen Non-Profit, helping the community with food stability, housing, youth community programs, rehabilitating parks & gardens
Product Packaging & Design
One of my major roles at the Main Event was creating a focus on playful vintage art for product packaging. All packaging was created via. photoshop along with hand-drawn aspects sometimes included. all designs were formatted within the Avery printing website, where files are sized and formatted for a smooth In-house print
My role In Graphic Packaging design extended to hand-drawn labels for individual house pre-rolls, the menus diverse and frequent rotation enabled constant new illustrations and custom designs.
Loisaida Cannabis Company, a Main Event house brand focused on giving back to the ‘Loisadia’ community, requested a new look that reflected their feline mascot along with the nostolgic look of a brown paper bag. This design Incorperated Photoshop, and hand drawn components created in ProCreate.
Digital assets were used for in store kiosks and website. Created on Wix, updated daily with handrawn icons and compostions of art, packaging and photography for display.
Caligraphy & Illustration
The Main Events indoor space featured an illustrated menu hand-painted daily and updated according to packaging, online menu and and The Main Events. curated vintage theme.
Print Design
All physical assets created and used were printed in house, from digital photo prints to brand logos and product packaging.
Social Media Content
I curated The Main Event’s Social Media content, capturing the west coast vintage clothing collection, and various other partnered brands, books, and antiques. These compositions were created using real in-store photos with manipulation of color and lighting effects, and a background manipulation to give clean simple presence magnifying products.
